Friska is a good food cafe next door to my workplace, they serve fresh and healthy seasonal food that is always a good eat!
My local (although not so local anymore) pub where I attend (and sometimes run) a Monday night Pub Quiz. Great drinks, and great food. Dog Friendly.

Dilbert is a hard working geek who gets stick from his pointy haired boss. The comic runs every day, with an extra large one on sundays
Questionable Content (or QC as its followers call it) is a daily comic that ranges from attempted romance to tiny little robots and the problems people have. Well worth reading from the first comic!
A daily (well mostly) comic based loosely on the geeky life of its artist, however it often shoots off in a crazy tangent of imposible-ness!
